Welcome to PJ’s 4-hour Te Ao Maori Experience.

Here at PJ's all our experiences are based in our backyard, our tribal homelands. We pride ourselves on delivering the best manaakitanga (hospitality) and want to ensure you get the most from your time with us!

All our visitors receive a warm welcome into our homelands with a warm welcome inside our ancestral meeting house, our wharenui. The next 4-hours you will be immersed in Te Ao Maori - the Maori world.

Itinerary for a Cruise Ship visitor from the Port of Tauranga:

45-minute Travel from Port of Tauranga to destination (haere mai)
2-hour Cultural Immersion
1-hour Unique Experience
1 hour Lunch and Modern Entertainment
45-minute Travel from destination to Port of Tauranga (haere atu)

Timings may vary but will not exceed 5.5 hours total time (5.5-hours Port to Port, transport additional $49 return pp)

Free & Independent travelers who wish to book can be picked up from the Rotorua Redwoods I-site which is located 20 minutes from our destination (transport additional $29 return pp)

Your Te Ao Maori Experience will be based on a traditional marae so you will get to feel the culture in a relaxed and authentic way, and we hope that our food and modern entertainment will leave a lasting impression on you!
